Return & Refund Policy

Please contact us on Instagram @bartomodslighting with your order number after reviewing the policy below to initiate a return or cancellation request.

Returns & Cancellations

Returns (after shipment):
A 25% restocking fee plus return shipping costs will apply to all orders that have already shipped. Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

Pre-shipment cancellations (in-stock items):
A 25% restocking fee applies to all canceled in-stock orders prior to shipment.

Backordered or non-stock items:
A 50% cancellation fee applies to all backordered or specialty orders. This includes, but is not limited to, custom items, specialty kits, replacement components, and non-stocked products.

Made to order items:
Lead times on custom items may vary. Waits are typically around a 5-7 week wait but can be longer due to increased order volume.

All built-to-order, made-to-order, and custom products require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of purchase. This deposit covers production costs and supplier commitments and cannot be refunded under any circumstances once the raw materials are ordered.

All returned items must be brand new, unused, and in original Bartomods packaging. Returns that do not meet this condition may be refused.

Refund Processing

Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

Shipping & Order Delays

Once an order has shipped, it is no longer under our control. Please refer to the tracking information provided via email. For delivery issues, contact the shipping carrier directly.

Due to high order volume, supplier delays, or unforeseen circumstances, processing and delivery times may vary. Please review your order confirmation, product descriptions, or contact us for updated timelines.

Wheels: Inspection, Returns & Warranty Claims

This section applies to wheels purchased from BartoMods. Ordinary return and cancellation fees apply to eligible change-of-mind requests. Confirmed manufacturing defects, items incorrectly supplied by BartoMods, and shipping-damage claims are evaluated separately and are not automatically subject to those fees or the unused-item requirement.

Inspect Before Mounting Tires

Inspect every wheel immediately upon delivery and before mounting tires, balancing, installation, coating, or modification. Check the face, lip, barrel, backside, finish, machining, bolt holes, center bore, and included hardware. Confirm the quantity, model, size, finish, bolt pattern, and offset against your order. Keep the original boxes, protective materials, and shipping labels.

Report visible blemishes, machining errors, missing parts, incorrect specifications, or shipping damage promptly, before mounting or using the wheels. Provide your order number and clear photos of the issue, wheel markings, and packaging. Do not mount, modify, repair, or drive on a wheel with a suspected defect while the claim is being reviewed.

Cosmetic Issues After Mounting

Wheels that have had tires mounted, been installed, or been used are not eligible for change-of-mind or discretionary cosmetic returns or exchanges. Damage caused by tire mounting, balancing equipment, tools, installation, or handling is not a factory defect. A pre-existing cosmetic claim first reported after mounting may be declined if the original condition or cause cannot reasonably be verified. Mounting alone does not void coverage for an unrelated manufacturing defect or a latent finish defect covered by the applicable warranty.

Fitment & Installation

Have a qualified installer carefully test-fit all wheels without tires before mounting, without scratching or altering them. Verify bolt pattern, center bore, offset, brake and suspension clearance, wheel and tire load ratings, tire compatibility, and correct lug hardware and engagement. Follow the applicable installation and torque instructions. Vehicle modifications, adapters, spacers, and tire choices can affect clearance and safety.

Customers are responsible for the specifications they select and for disclosing relevant vehicle modifications. If we supply wheels that differ from your confirmed order, or fitment information provided by BartoMods proves incorrect, contact us before mounting so we can review the appropriate correction. Do not force a wheel to fit or alter it to resolve an issue.

Factory Defects & Warranty Resolution

BartoMods-manufactured wheels are subject to our BartoMods Limited Lifetime Warranty. Verified defects in materials or workmanship, including manufacturing or machining errors, may qualify for warranty service. Coverage applies to the original purchaser, is not transferable, and requires proof of purchase. Finish claims follow the applicable warranty; lifetime structural coverage does not, by itself, promise lifetime coverage for every finish.

For other brands, the manufacturer's warranty terms supplied with the purchase determine coverage, duration, exclusions, and available remedies. BartoMods can assist with the claim. A warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a cash refund: BartoMods or the applicable manufacturer will determine the remedy under that warranty. Service may be limited to the affected wheel or component when replacement of the entire set is unnecessary.

Damage & Wear

Damage caused by potholes, curb strikes, road debris, collisions, abuse, overloading, improper installation, unsuitable hardware or tires, improper care, harsh chemicals, or operation outside the product's stated specifications is not a manufacturing defect. Normal wear and cosmetic aging are excluded as described in the applicable warranty. Damage caused by modifications, refinishing, coatings, or repairs is not covered; those changes do not by themselves void coverage for an unrelated defect under the BartoMods warranty. Third-party brands may have different finish and modification restrictions.

Shipping Damage, Wrong Items & Claim Instructions

Photograph visible delivery damage and note it with the carrier when possible. Contact BartoMods promptly about damaged, missing, or incorrect wheels, including damage discovered during unpacking. Keep all packaging available for inspection. We will review the issue and assist with the appropriate carrier or supplier claim; shipping damage is handled separately from a factory-defect warranty claim.

Contact us through our website or Instagram @bartomodslighting with your order number, a description of the issue and when it appeared, photos or video, and relevant vehicle and installation details. Obtain written return authorization and shipping instructions before sending anything back. Claims may require inspection of the wheel. Authorization to return an item is not approval of the claim or a promise of a refund. Stop using a wheel if there is a suspected structural or safety issue.

Costs, Custom Orders & Your Rights

Except where required by law or expressly approved by BartoMods in writing, warranty remedies do not reimburse tire mounting or dismounting, balancing, removal, installation, diagnostics, third-party labor, transportation, rental vehicles, or loss of use. Any return freight or other applicable claim-related charges will be explained before you are asked to ship the wheel; BartoMods warranty shipping terms are stated in our Warranty Policy.

Custom, built-to-order, and made-to-order wheels remain subject to the cancellation and deposit terms above. Request any specification change or cancellation in writing as early as possible; a change may not be possible after materials are ordered or production begins. Custom-order status does not eliminate a claim for a covered defect or an item that does not match the confirmed order.

The 30-day ordinary return window does not shorten an applicable warranty period. Purchases remain subject to the return and warranty terms provided at the time of sale; later updates do not reduce existing coverage. Nothing in this policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. Where this wheel section conflicts with the general return or shipping language above, this section governs wheel claims, subject to those rights.
